For the keyword search term, Coolest Guy On the Planet, I show up on the 17th page of Google at #161 out of about 156,000 listings. That’s not bad considering that I posted a one page title about a year ago and have never done anything to it until today on July 20, 2008.
I have noticed that my website was picked up and a blurb about Kimberly Kimbrough being the Coolest Guy on the Planet is showing up
In fact, the website looked like a MySpace page or that it should appear on Web Pages that Suck.
But that’s okay. It just goes to show you that one should focus on visitor experience and search engines while designing a page. 161 is not bad, but I know that I can do so much better.
So off to the races!
For the search term, Coolest Woman on the Planet, the link showmedaily.com/coolest.html shows up on page 3 at #28. But my one page article about being the Coolest Woman has sparked the interest of someone who posted it on a larger website (stands to reason they would appear higher for now) and that article that says COOLEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET KIMBERLY KIMBROUGH shows up as #4 on the first page of Google in the SERPs!
1. So today, I am going to continue building my page and reorganizing Show Me Daily. I have a great ebook to offer visitors who want to make real money and not get filled with fake pipe dreams. I have been doing this for years and years and I know that once you have seen one guy wearing a business suit, you have seen them all. I respect all of them but I know that something refreshing is always helpful.
2. I am now researching the websites of the folks who are ranked higher and I am going to match their efforts and improve upon it. I hope to do this quietly to not disturb the giants. They are not sleeping giants. But they are busy making their thousands per day and I just want to come up from behind and yell “HELLO!”
In Yahoo, I do not come up when I type in COOLEST GUY ON THE PLANET KIMBERLY KIMBROUGH so it is safe to say that I may not be highly listed for the term minus my name.
I do, however, show up for the COOLEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET KIMBERLY KIMBROUGH but I do not come up in the top 10 of yahoo.
With MSN, I did not see that I came up at all. (sigh) But the truth is that I never use their engine either, so I suppose that’s fair.

Hey Kimberly, good luck to you on becoming the Coolest Guy on the Planet and the Coolest Woman on the Planet!
You got my vote! I am a single parent, too and I bring home the paycheck and do everything else, so I know what you are going through.
